First conference of 2015

6 January 2015

The 4th Annual CCP-BioSim Conference kicks off tomorrow at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds.

Dr Sarah Harris, from the School of Physics and Astronomy is the Principal Organiser behind the conference and will be introducing the conference to all delegates.

The conference runs from 7th – 9th January 2015 and will include a range of speakers from across the World. Speakers include, Grubmuller, Hang, Stott and Dougan.

Dr Lorna Dougan is an Associate Professor in the School and will be discussing “Single molecule studies of proteins from extremophile organisms”.

White Rose Meeting

The next White Rose meeting will be held at the University of Leeds. As usual, we will have talks with speakers from York, Leeds, Bradford, and Sheffield.
